Description

This project aims to improve gender equality in the renewable energy sector in Small Island Developing States (SIDS) through technical assistance to support gender aspects of the investment projects within the portfolio of the renewable energy in SIDS program. Besides the technical assistance, there are broader interventions intended to leverage the funding: i) women’s employment in renewable energy with a focus on STEM; ii) increase productive use of energy for women-owned or women-led enterprises; iii) enhancing evidence base on what works to close gender gaps through impact evaluation in selected renewable energy project interventions in SIDS.
