    BC Water Resources Atlas (Opens in a new Window)

    The BC Water Resources Atlas is an iMapBC application with enhanced functionality to display detailed water related data, including watersheds, water quantity and quality monitoring sites, aquifers, water wells and flood protection works. This tool presents raster data for a variety of layers.

    Flood Forecasting and Warning Program (Opens in a new Window)

    The Ontario Flood Forecasting and Warning Program provides information on current floods, including flood warnings, flood watches, and watershed conditions. Current flood statuses across Ontario are available as polygon data and categorized based on how the flood was issued (locally or provincially). Statements on current streamflow and forecasted precipitation are given for each MNRF Region.

    Flood Risk Mapping Studies/Public Information Maps (Opens in a new Window)

    Climate Change Flood Risk Maps are a tool for management and planning of flood plains and to minimize the impact of floods. Flood Risk Maps have been developed using climate change projections and are based on flood events associated with a return period of 20 and 100 years for various locations in Newfoundland and Labrador. As of June 2018, 10 climate change flood risk maps have been developed.

    Newfoundland and Labrador Water Resources Portal (NLWRP) (Opens in a new Window)

    The Water Resources Portal displays a wide variety of water resources data that includes: drinking water quality data and treatment profiles; protection areas for ground and surface water supplies; boil water advisories; ambient water quality data, station profiles and watersheds; real time water quality data; hydrometric station data and station profiles; climate station profiles; dam locations and sewage outfall locations.

    PLAN2ADAPT (Opens in a new Window)

    The Plan2Adapt tool generates maps, plots, and data describing projected future climate conditions for regions throughout British Columbia. It is designed to help assess climate change in regions of BC based on a standard set of climate model projections. Climate variables include temperature, precipitation, snowfall, and growing and heating degree days. Impacts of change in these climate variables are also discussed. Data can be explored based on regional districts, health authority boundaries, ecoprovinces, and forestry regions over three time periods (2020s, 2050s, and 2080s), seasonally and annually.

    Scénarios climatiques pour l'ingénierie (in French only) (Opens in a new Window)

    The Scénarios climatiques pour l'ingénierie website is a pilot project that aims to better communicate to engineers information about climate change scenarios. The website presents fact sheets for two regions of Quebec, namely Montreal and Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, and seven climate indicators. The indicators were selected by a user committee.
