    Canadian ensemble of CMIP5 ocean wave heights simulations mean and extremes contains monthly, seasonal and annual statistics (mean and maximum) of significant wave height that were produced using a statistical modelling approach and 6-hourly sea level pressure. Sea level pressure was simulated by 20 global climate models included in the Coupled Climate Model Comparison Phase 5 (CMIP5) project. The gridded global dataset contains projected data. Data are available for the historical period 1950-2005 and two different future emission scenarios (RCP4.5 and RCP8.5).

    Canadian Extreme Water Level Adaptation Tool (CAN-EWLAT) (Opens in a new Window)

    Canadian Extreme Water Level Adaptation Tool (CAN-EWLAT) is a science-based planning tool for the adaptation of coastal infrastructure related to future water-level extremes and changes in wave climates. This tool allows users to locate tide gauges and small craft harbours across Canada. For each geographical location, data including vertical allowance, sea level rise, mean water level, and wave climate can be visualized and downloaded.

    Canadian Gridded Temperature and Precipitation Anomalies (CANGRD) (Opens in a new Window)

    Gridded historical climate data, also known as Canadian gridded datasets (CanGRD), include gridded temperature and precipitation anomalies (i.e., differences from a reference period) across Canada. Annual, seasonal, and monthly historical gridded data are available. CanGRD data were interpolated from the Adjusted and Homogenized Canadian Climate Data (AHCCD) and are used to produce the Climate Trends and Variations Bulletin.

    Canadian Station Tide and Water Level Inventory and Data Download contains observations of water level data from stations across Canada for the historical period of 1970 to present. Stations may be selected using an interactive map. Data are available for download in tabular format

    Canadian Tides and Water Levels Data Archive (Opens in a new Window)

    The Canadian Tides and Water Levels Data Archive contains historical observations of tides and water levels from Canadian and global monitoring stations. Data include Canadian tide and water level data, Canadian Hydrographic Service station benchmarks, and international sea level data. Data are available for download in tabular format or can be visualized using an interactive map.

    Canadian Wildland Fire Information System (Opens in a new Window)

    Canadian Wildland Fire Information System (CWFIS) contains daily fire weather, year-round fire behavior and hot spot maps throughout the forest fire season, generally between May and September. Multiple offerings are available including an interactive map, current conditions, fire danger, weather, fire weather, fire behaviour, fire M3 hotspots, and monthly and seasonal forecasts. Historical analyses including fire weather normals and fire behaviour normals are also available. Data are available as point and polygon data.

    CC-Bio: Maps and Data (Opens in a new Window)

    CC-Bio is a project to predict potential effects of climate change on the distribution and abundance of a large range of plant and animal species from Quebec. CC-Bio supports regional strategies of adaptation to climate change in the field of biodiversity conservation. Advanced statistical techniques are used to develop quantitative models representing the complex relationships between species distributions and environmental variables, including climate. The website modeling results for 681 species of amphibians, birds, and plants for which potential effects of climate change have been analyzed are available for view. Results for 84 tree species have not yet been made public (for these species, contact rine.perie_at_mrnf.gouv.qc.ca).

    The Change in Sea Surface Temperature in BC dataset includes station details, an estimate of long-term change in annual and seasonal sea surface temperature from 1935 to 2014 and an estimate of statistical significance from seven stations across BC. Data are available for download in tabular format.

    The Change in Size of Glaciers dataset includes estimates of area of ice coverage, percent change in ice coverage, and estimated glacier volume loss rate from across BC for the historical period of 1985 to 2000. Data are provided for British Columbia as well as for each ecoprovince, available for download in tabular format.
