    Agriculture Water Demand Model (Opens in a new Window)

    The Agriculture Water Demand Model (AWDM) calculates current water requirements for agriculture using crop, soil, irrigation system type, and historical climate data, as well as future water requirements using projected climate change scenarios. The climate data layer has been developed for the entire Province of BC on 500 metre by 500 metre grid cells. The water demand results help municipalities to develop dedicated agriculture water that the Water Sustainability Act (WSA) supports. The BC Ministry of Agriculture has continued to collaborate with partners to expand the AWDM to other regions of the province, with complete coverage expected by 2021.     BC Air Data Archive Website (Opens in a new Window)

    The BC Air Data Archive provides access to historical data from ambient air quality and meteorological stations across BC, including Metro Vancouver's coverage of the lower mainland. Specific variables include pollutant concentrations, temperature, humidity, wind speed & direction, and atmospheric pressure. Data are available for download in graphical or tabular forms, and in 1, 3, 4, 6, 12, or 24 hour averages over daily, weekly, or monthly summary periods.

    Climate Data (Opens in a new Window)

    Climate Data brings together a significant amount of climate data and tools that have been developed for Newfoundland and Labrador. This includes historical climate data, road weather information system data, Intensity-Duration-Frequency (IDF) curves, temperature and precipitation projections, and flood alert system updates. Additional tools include flood risk mapping and coastal erosion monitoring. Future data are available as gridded data.

    Climate data – High resolution projections (Opens in a new Window)

    Climate data - High resolution projections contains high resolution climate change data focused on Ontario. The dataset contains the 50th percentile high resolution probabilistic projections of annual averaged temperature and precipitation over Ontario, covering the 1970s, 2030s, 2050s, and 2080s. Data are provided in partnership with the University of Regina and York University. Data are available for download in tabular and gridded formats

    Climate Data within the Eco-System Account (Opens in a new Window)

    Climate Data within the Eco-System Account provides weather station data at the daily, monthly, quarterly and annual resolution for Newfoundland. Daily values of minimum, maximum and average temperature, as well as rainfall, snowfall and total precipitation are also available. Historical data are available as point and polygon data.

    Climate Normals (1961 - 1990) (Opens in a new Window)

    The Climate Normals dataset contains averages and extremes for precipitation, temperature, heat moisture index, frost free days, moisture deficit, and evaporation from across BC for the period 1961 to 1990. Data can be downloaded by variable and visualized in HectaresBC or other map viewer. The values in this dataset are available as raster (gridded) data.

    Current and Historical Alberta Weather Station Data Viewer (Opens in a new Window)

    The Current and Historical Alberta Weather Station data Viewer is a tool which allows users to retrieve, display, graph and/or download observations from climate stations across Alberta. Variables available include precipitation, temperature, wind, soil moisture, soil temperature, Fire Weather Index, Climate Normals, and Almanac values. Single or multiple stations may be selected from an interactive map, and users may specify the time period of interest. Data is available for download in tabular and graphical formats.

    The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Yukon Data directory provides access to a wide range of Yukon datasets. Observational data includes biological and biophysical data, culture and heritage information, elevation, environmental monitoring, forestry and geologic data, imagery, planning, and data from the natural resource sectors.     New Brunswick’s Future Climate Projections (Opens in a new Window)

    New Brunswick's Future Climate Projections contain projected change for 29 climate indices for the province over the 1980−2010 period from historical observation records and GCMs (global climate models) and climate projections for the future periods 2020, 2050 and 2080 over the 21st century under Representative Concentration Pathway (RCP) 2.6, 4.5, 6.0, and 8.5 scenarios.

    Normales climatiques du Québec 1981-2010 (in French only) (Opens in a new Window)

    1981-2010 Climate Normals for Quebec contains climate normals, calculated over a 30-year period from climate monitoring program data, that indicate the average climate that can be expected at a given location. Users can select stations via an interactive map. Static maps of climate normals are also available in PDF form. Historical data are available as point and gridded data. Normals available for temperature (min, mean and max) and precipitation (rain, snow and total).
