  • Agricultural Irrigation Scheduling Calculator (Opens in a new Window)

    The Agricultural Irrigation Scheduling Calculator uses evapotranspiration (ET) data from Farmwest to advise producers on irrigation scheduling. Users specify soil type, irrigation system design, location, and crop type and receive tailored irrigation advice as output. Data is presented graphically and is available for download in report form.

    Atlas agroclimatique du Québec (in French only) (Opens in a new Window)

    The AgroClimate Atlas of Quebec contains historical observations and future modelled climate indicators for various regions of Quebec. Moderate and high emissions scenarios are available and indicators are presented in mapped and graphical form. Indicators are reported as seasonal averages over the horizon periods, and include: frost dates, extreme temperatures, growing season, degree-days, corn heat units, hardening, dehardening, precipitation, water budget, and IDF graphs.

    Maps for Farmers and Agribusiness (Opens in a new Window)

    Maps for Farmers and Agribusiness provides information on Saskatchewan crop, weed, insect, disease, and moisture conditions. Users can download maps in PDF format for southern Saskatchewan at sub-county resolution. Rainfall, moisture, and temperature maps are updated weekly. Users can also download weekly Crop Reports as well as insect and crop disease maps.

    The use of the Land Suitability Rating System to Assess Climate Change Impacts on Corn Production in the Lower Fraser Valley of British Columbia (Opens in a new Window)

    The Land Suitability Rating System (LSRS) is a spatial modeling tool that generates a class rating for individual parcels of land for specific agricultural field crops based on a soil-climate-landscape potential. Alongside the Tool are accompanying climatic temperate index maps and climate moisture maps.
