    Farmwest.com is a website launched in 2001 to provide weather and climate information as well as a number of decision-support tools to the agricultural sector. Farmwest is linked to 397 weather stations across Canada from federal, provincial, municipal and private weather station networks. Data includes temperature, precipitation, growing degree days, pest degree days, T-Sum calculator, and seasonal weather forecasts. Data are searchable by station and time period, and are available graphically.

    Forest Change adaptation tools provides information about the impacts of climate change on Canada’s forests and on how to adapt to changing climate conditions. Adaptation tools and resources for forest managers are available here. The tools and resources provided include maps, databases, web applications and synthesis reports.     Forest Change Data Catalogue (Opens in a new Window)

    The Forest Climate Change Data Catalogue is a collection of data sets that are relevant to the Canadian forest sector under a changing climate. Created by Canadian Forest Service scientists, these data sets include static maps, raw data (both point and gridded), and interactive maps that cover all of Canada. Data themes include drought, fire, climate and tree distribution; multiple climate scenarios are projected to the year 2100. The data sets will be periodically updated as new information becomes available.

    GeoWeb Water Portal (Opens in a new Window)

    The GeoWeb Water Portal interactive map displays historical and current water quantity, quality, and climate data for stations across BC for the period of 1886 to 2018. Specific measures include temperature, precipitation, snow depth, water quality, depth to groundwater, and others. Data are available in graphical format for each monitoring station.

    NeraCoos Data (Opens in a new Window)

    NeraCoos Data contains data products and tools summarizing eastern buoy, station, and forecasts data. Historical and future data are available as point data. Climate variables include wind speed, wind gust, air temperature, water temperature at varying depths, and air temperature; they are updated from each station and users can compare stations. Forecasts of coastal flooding and erosion, and 48-hour wave and wind are also available.

    Normales climatiques du Québec 1981-2010 (in French only) (Opens in a new Window)

    1981-2010 Climate Normals for Quebec contains climate normals, calculated over a 30-year period from climate monitoring program data, that indicate the average climate that can be expected at a given location. Users can select stations via an interactive map. Static maps of climate normals are also available in PDF form. Historical data are available as point and gridded data. Normals available for temperature (min, mean and max) and precipitation (rain, snow and total).

    Nova Scotia Flood Event Database (Opens in a new Window)

    The Nova Scotia Flood History database contains historical records of flood events in Nova Scotia from 1992 to February 1, 2015. Each record in the database represents a single news article from The Chronicle Herald. The database provides the best matched city where the flood event occurred, the date the story was published, a snippet from the article's full story, other places and the county referenced in the news article (if available), and a citation for the record. Historical flood events dating back to 1759 until 1987 are also projected onto an interactive map.

    Polar Data Catalogue is a searchable database that contains metadata and provides access to data and information produced by Arctic and Antarctic researchers. The Polar Data Catalogue (PDC) is one of Canada’s primary online sources for data and information about the Arctic and is Canada's National Antarctica Data Centre. Historical data are available for a variety of spatial types, including point and gridded.

    Service Info-Climat offers hourly, daily and monthly data for temperature, dew point, relative humidity, precipitation (rain, snow and total), snow on the ground, pressure and wind, annual and monthly statistics, Intensity-Duration-graphs Frequency, wind rose, frequency of exceeding daily requirements.
