    Vigilance - High water monitoring (in French only) (Opens in a new Window)

    This Web application is designed to help you prepare for flooding by keeping you informed of the status of high water in Quebec. It is also used by municipal and government authorities to alert and mobilize emergency responders. This latest version of Vigilance responds to measure 12 of the Plan de protection du territoire face aux inondations , which is to increase the government network for monitoring watercourses and forecasting and tracking the extent of flooding.

    Water Information and Flood Conditions (Opens in a new Window)

    Manitoba Flood Forecasting presents Flood Forecasts and Reports, River Levels/Flow Plots, Forecast Information Maps, Lakes Information, and maps. Forecast Information is available in an interactive map that displays flood forecasts at various stations across Manitoba. Flood sheets, which are issued during the spring runoff period or summer rain period, are updated daily and show the flow at a particular station, and its deviations from the forecasted peak. Data are available in mapped, tabular, and various other formats.

    Water Quantity Information: Rainfall, Snowfall, Stream Flow and Groundwater (Opens in a new Window)

    Rainfall, Snowfall, Stream Flow and Groundwater is a monthly summary of the state of water levels in New Brunswick based on precipitation and streamflow data from the previous 6 months, and compared to long term averages. Each monthly report contains static maps and graphs on precipitation, streamflow runoff, groundwater level, and a summary outlook of water conditions.

    Water Survey Data Products and Services contains real time and historical hydrometric data collected from stations across Canada. These data include: daily and monthly mean flow, water levels and sediment concentration. Data can be searched by province, station name, drainage basin, or coordinates.

    Wave Data Available On-line (Opens in a new Window)

    Wave Data Available On-line provides wave height, wave period, wind direction, wind speed, air temperature, and air pressure observations from buoys and unofficial Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) observations for the historical period of 1970 to present. Data are available for each station/buoy in tabular and graphical format.

    Weather Conditions and Reports (Opens in a new Window)

    The Weather Conditions and Reports database contains historical climate data at various scales from across Manitoba. About 109 stations monitor air temperature, relative humidity, rainfall, wind speed/wind direction and soil temperature. In addition to regular weather and soil reports, users can access more specialized tools, including disease and crop condition reports. Data are available in tabular, mapped, and report formats.

    Western Arctic Weather Data (Opens in a new Window)

    The Western Arctic Weather Data page provides access to observations of weather and climate variables (such as temperature and rainfall amounts) for the Northwest Territories and Yukon. This data comes from the metnorth database that is maintained by PCIC. The interactive map shows the locations of the observing stations. Users can zoom and pan to a region of interest, learn about the stations that are located in the region, filter displayd stations based on observation date, weather element, observing agency, region, and more.

    Wildfire Maps (Opens in a new Window)

    Wildfire Maps include information on historical and current wildfires in Yukon. A wildfire maps archive is available which includes records from 2015 onwards. Information available includes location, total area burned, number of active fires, burn permits, and fire danger ratings. Historical data are available as point and polygon data.
