    This report has two main objectives: (1) to inform and educate about the potential impacts of severe weather, climate variability, and climate change on natural gas and propane installations, as well as specific climate adaptation measures that have been incorporated in different regions; and (2) to develop specific climate change adaptation recommendations for consideration for CSA B149.1, CSA B149.2, and CSA B149.3 [1], [23], [24], as well as general recommendations for other relevant codes and standards in the gas sector.

    Climate Change Vulnerability of BC’s Fish and Wildlife: First Approximation (Opens in a new Window)

    This report outlines a framework to assess climate change vulnerability for BC’s fish and wildlife species and ecosystems, and uses the framework to assess vulnerability for selected species. An accompanying database includes detailed ratings and rationales. The report also identifies high-level adaptation strategies to reduce risks associated with climate change.

    Climate Change: From Learning to Action (Opens in a new Window)

    These web based modules aim to provide a basic understanding of climate change and its global impacts. This course is delivered over six web modules and covers concepts including climate science, adaptation, low carbon opportunities, financing and planning climate action and climate negotiations. Participants will work to develop a concrete action plan or project designed to tackle climate change.
